SEVEN SPRINGS -- Maybe that uncharacteristic, season-opening three-game slide will become a distant memory for Spring Creek.

Jeremy Houser sure hopes it does.

Jorge Josue Sanchez Inestroza, a sophomore, punched in two goals during the Gators' 3-2 triumph over Hobbton on Friday afternoon.

Jason Omar Turcios-Rodriguez delivered one goal.

Kevin Avila doled out an assist.

SC keeper Juan Carlos Bravo-Reyes picked up four saves between the pipes.

The Gators (1-3-0 overall) play host to East Carteret next Wednesday.
