PREP VOLLEYBALL: Chargers fall from unbeaten ranks

KINSTON -- Wayne Country Day is unbeaten no more.
Parrott Academy provided the first blemish on the Chargers' record with a 25-20, 25-15, 25-20 win Thursday evening.
Lexi Jeffreys led WCDS with six kills and six blocks. Grayson Jeffreys collected six kills and two blocks.
Cate Eagles recorded 11 assists and five kills.
Katie Strickland provided 12 digs, two aces and three kills.
Wayne Country Day (9-1 overall) travel to Halifax Academy next Tuesday.
