PREP GIRLS' TENNIS: WCDS hammers Fayetteville Academy

Wayne Country Day dropped just three games in doubles action, and rolled past Fayetteville Academy 8-1 on the Wayne Community College courts Tuesday afternoon.
The tandems of Cady Stanly-Grace O'Daniel and Diya Shreenath-Serena Danieli posted shutouts at the Nos. 2 and 3 flights. The top-seeded duo of Langley Barnes-Annelise Boros prevailed 8-1 at the No. 1 spot.
Barnes, Stanly, Shreenath, Boros and O'Daniel each collected a singles point in pro-set (eight-game) action.
The Chargers (3-1 overall) entertain perennial powerhouse Parrott Academy on Thursday. First serve is 4 p.m.
