Wesley Case went 2 of 4 with three RBI, but it wasn't enough to propel Eastern Wayne past non-conference foe Greene Central on Wednesday.
The Warriors now stand 1-8 overall this spring.
Jason Mitchell and Josh Gross also had two hits apiece for Eastern Wayne, which couldn't match a six-run outburst posted by the Rams over the final three frames.
Colby Miller absorbed the loss for EW, allowing five runs (three earned) on four hits in 12⁄3 frames of work.

Lakewood 0
PRINCETON -- Morgan Fields, Rachel Creech and Esbeydy Bautista scored goals as Princeton defeated Carolina 1A foe Lakewood, 3-0, on Wednesday.
The victory moved the Lady Bulldogs to 6-1 overall this season, and 4-1 in league play.
Ruthie Zieverink and Creech provided assists for PHS, which entertains Rosewood today at 6:30 p.m.

Christ Covenant 0
WINTERVILLE -- Hayden Nielsen found the net twice on Wednesday as Wayne Country Day turned back visiting Christ Covenant, 2-nil.
Hanna McKeithen and Anna Kierski tallied assists for the Lady Chargers (4-0-1, 1-0 CPIC, who return to the pitch on April 5 versus Oakwood.

Ridgecroft 2
AHOSKIE -- Sam Dively and Peter Ye led Wayne Country Day to a 7-2 road triumph over Ridgecroft on Wednesday.
Dively/Ye opened doubles play with an 8-3 victory over Drew Davis/Hunter Hairston, then won their respective singles matches to help seal the victory.
Dively turned back Davis in straight sets (6-0, 6-0), while Ye ousted Gage King in 6-4, 1-6 (10-7) fashion.
