Jonathan Peacock scored 15 points and lead guard Chance Howard added 13 as Rosewood turned back Carolina 1A rival Princeton, 56-43, on Friday for its first regular-season league title since 1997.
The Eagles were efficient from the outset, building a 26-13 halftime advantage and salting matters away in the final stanza by going 11 of 14 from the charity stripe.
Marquel Vaughn and Conner Vernon also factored prominently for the Eagles, finishing with nine points apiece.
"Played really good defense," RHS head coach Daniel Mitchell said post-game. "Got up by 20 in the third quarter. Princeton picked up the intensity and made a run... really proud of the guys. Played extremely hard. Great team effort."
Rosewood (14-7, 10-2 Carolina 1A) now waits for its assignment in next week's conference tournament.
Princeton (13-9, 9-3) will entertain Neuse Charter on Tuesday at Deacon Jones Gymnasium.
