GREENVILLE -- Lexi Jeffreys scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds on Friday to lead Wayne Country Day to a thumping of host Oakwood.
The Chargers also got solid play from lead guard Jala Holloman, who finished the contest with 17 points and 10 caroms. Senior forward Lillian Freeman contributed 11 points.
"We played very well from start to finish," noted WCDS head coach David Flowers. "Defensively, we looked great and were able to get out and run... Hopefully, we can continue this heading into conference play."
Now 6-1 on the season, WCDS visits John Paul II on Wednesday.
