KINSTON -- Bri Verme's 11 points led Wayne Christian to a road victory on Friday versus Bethel Christian.
The Eagles also got contributions from Lauren Mitchell, who finished with six rebounds, and Emma Bauer, who had five rebounds.
Hayli Verme and Hannaley Stephens had three steals apiece for Wayne Christian, who improved to 2-2 overall with the victory.
The Eagles next see action on Dec. 11, when they travel back to Kinston to face Parrott Academy.
