GREENVILLE -- Linwood Grandy scored 19 points to lead a balanced Wayne Country Day attack past Oakwood on Friday.
Tracey Whitfield also played well, finishing the night with 18 points. Javon Outlaw added 17 points, while Cole Atwood and Jaden Cooper both contributed 11 points apiece.
"We started out a bit sluggish, but picked it up in the second half," said WCDS head coach David Flowers. "We have a very tough schedule the rest of the way, so hopefully we can show up every night ready to play."
WCDS is now 5-2 on the season, and next sees action on Wednesday at John Paul II.
