DUDLEY -- Junior guard Tziah Kelly scored a game-high 22 points on Wednesday to lead Goldsboro past ECC 3A member Southern Wayne.
The navy-and-old gold also received quality play from Aleesha Boyette, who netted 14 points.
Southern got another double-double from forward Samiya Bess, who went for 13 points and 11 rebounds. Alissa Meadows contributed 13 points and Machiah Moore added seven points.
Goldsboro (2-2) next sees the court on Nov. 29 in a road matchup with Cedar Ridge. Southern Wayne, also 2-2, travels to Clinton on Nov. 28.
