Led by Charles B. Aycock, who earned a No. 6 seed in the 3-A classification, five area teams garnered bids on Monday morning for the N.C. High School Athletic Association state soccer playoffs, which begin on Wednesday at locations throughout the state.
The Powder Blues, 14-4-0 on the season, will play host to Big East member and familiar foe Wilson Hunt, who compiled a 12-11-0 mark this fall.
First touch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Southern Wayne (8-10-2) also made the field, sneaking in the bracket as the classification's 24th seed. It will travel to Bailey for a date with Southern Nash (12-7-2) on Wednesday.
The area's 2-A rank and file will be represented by Spring Creek (7-12-1), who will make the trek to Siler City for a showdown with Jordan-Matthews High, a difficult outfit who handled its regular-season campaign in 16-3-2 fashion.
SC is the bracket's 28th seed.
Rosewood High, who finished the regular season with an 11-11-0 mark, is one of two Carolina 1-A schools in the playoffs.
It travels to Edenton on Wednesday to face a Holmes High troupe that concluded its fall with a 12-9-1 overall mark.
North Duplin, coached by James Foster, earned the bracket's 19th seed and will hit the trail to face Woods Charter School in Chapel Hill.
The Rebels finished the regular season with a record of 10-7-1, while WC compiled an overall mark of 10-8-0.
