GREENVILLE -- Eastern Wayne intercepted a Grant Jarman pass and scored with 16.9 second remaining in the fourth quarter to stun J.H. Rose on Friday.
The victory moved the Warriors -- who travel to face county foe Southern Wayne next week -- to 5-4 overall this season, and 2-3 in ECC 3-A play.
South Central 76,
C.B. Aycock 14
PIKEVILLE -- The high-flying Falcons of South Central continued their torrid scoring pace on Friday, defeating Charles B. Aycock by 62 points in an ECC 3-A matchup.
The loss moved CBA to 2-9 (1-5 ECC) on the season.
South Central, now 9-1 overall and 5-0 in ECC play, entertains D.H. Conley on Friday.

DUDLEY -- Shawntwon Leach ran for 123 yards and a touchdown, but it wasn't enough to overcome a 35-point first half scoring barrage from D.H. Conley on Friday.
Demetriuc Wright also performed ably for the Saints, racking up 86 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Taylen West led the receiving corp, snagging two catches for 41 yards.
Josh McClain also made two catches totaling 26 yards.
"We played a hard-fought game against a very good team in D.H. Conley," head coach Ronnie McClary Jr. said. "We will prepare for another county rival in Eastern Wayne and try to end the season on a high note."
The setback kept Southern Wayne winless on the season.
