PIKEVILLE -- Tae Jackson rushed for 273 yards on 29 carries and scored five touchdowns in a 60-46 victory over ECC and county foe Southern Wayne.
CBA quarterback Tyler Daniels also performed ably, completing 25 of 41 passing attempts for 244 yards and a touchdown.
Most of his aerial assault was hauled in by Luke Frederick, who caught 12 passes for 160 yards and a touchdown. Alijuan Moore also snared four balls for 27 yards.
Senior running back Michael Hemmingway added 41 yards rushing and two touchdowns for the powder blues, who moved to 2-8 overall (1-4) with the victory.
Southern Wayne remains winless on the season.
