Junior tailback Zxavior Bowden continued his stellar play on Friday, but it wasn't enough to propel Goldsboro past powerhouse Wallace-Rose Hill.

Bowden rushed 27 times for 179 yards and two scores on the evening. He was complemented by sophomore JB Rhodes, who recorded his first 100-yard outing on the varsity level.

Rhodes carried the luggage 11 times for 104 yards, also scoring a touchdown.

Goldsboro (4-5, 1-3) entertains Wayne County and league foe Spring Creek next week.
