SEVEN SPRINGS -- Spring Creek Sophomore Amanda Haggerty and junior Ivy Rouse, winners of the East Central doubles tennis title just two weeks ago, travel to Greene Central High School today to vie for a spot in the state championship, which will be contested on Oct. 27-28.
"Since this will be their second appearance, they can go in with confidence because they know what to expect," SC head coach Donna Haggerty said. "Of course there is a little nervousness, but they are more excited than anything else... I feel good about them as a doubles team because they know each other so well."
Seeding for the event will take place today at noon, with play beginning at 1 p.m.
