CLINTON -- Xzavior Bowden rushed for 188 yards and a touchdown in Goldsboro's loss at Clinton on Friday.
Junior quarterback Brody Morton also performed ably, completing 11 of 15 passes for 133 yards.
Nazjelle Wooten had a trio of catches for 48 yards.
Now 4-4 overall and 1-2 in East Central 2-A play, the Cougars play host to powerhouse Wallace-Rose Hill next week.
