Wayne Christian volleyball notches tri-match victory

Wayne Christian went undefeated versus Goldsboro High School and Princeton High School this past Saturday.
The Lady Eagles dispatched PHS by a 25-16, 25-13, 23-25 and 28-26 margin. WC won its match versus GHS by a score of 25-19, 29-27 and 25-20.
Hope Shook and Ashlee Harrelson led the winning effort with 23 and 17 kills, respectively. Sarah Sawyer and Ashton Cobb provided 12 kills each.
Holly Gurley had 20 digs and one ace while Kasey Norris contributed 69 assists and two aces. Adleyn Worling pitched in with nine digs, while Madison Wells had three aces.
Wayne Christian is now 13-6 overall, and 7-0 in conference play.
