Goldsboro High fell to Central Plains 2-A foe Midway, 3-0, on Monday. The Cougars won't see the pitch again until next week, when they travel to James Kenan.

Wilber Velasquez scored North Duplin's lone goal in a 3-1 setback versus Lakewood on Monday.
The Rebels are now 5-5-1 overall, and 3-5 in Carolina 1-A play.
