The Pitt Pacers defeated Wayne Christian 25-23, 25-12, 24-26, 21-25, 15-10 on Thursday evening.
Hope Shook and Ashlee Harrelson had 19 kills and 12 kills, respectively, for the Eagles. Sarah Sawyer added 7 kills and Ashton Cobb contributed 5 kills.
Holley Gurley had 10 digs.
Kasey Norris had a excellent match with 47 assists.
Adelyn Worling contributed 4 aces. Amanda Morrel also had 1 kill and 1 dig.
Wayne Christian (0-2 overall) plays at the Lee Christian Tournament on Saturday.
