Seven different Wayne Country Day players scratched in the scoring column during a 7-0, non-conference romp over Burlington School on a humid, sweat-drenching Friday afternoon.
Marquise Newell and Nehemiya Shaw punched in two goals apiece for the Chargers, who extended their win streak to three games. Shaw also passed out an assist.
Luis Lopez provided one goal and two assists. Caleb Brewer and Nick Fletcher each collected one goal.
Jack Talton and David Gurley each had an assist.
"It took time to get the break through on a really strong Burlington keeper, but as soon as the first one went in (the net), the flood gates opened," WCDS head coach Steve Ellis said. "We had 33 chances on goal tonight, which is great but the conversion rate has to be better. Overall a good performance from the team and we look forward to the next game."
The Chargers (3-1-0 overall) are the guests of Parrott next Thursday.
