PREP VOLLEYBALL: North Duplin earns 5-set win

North Duplin launched its 2017 campaign with a 17-25, 25-20, 25-21, 27-19, 15-12 triumph over Spring Creek on Monday evening.
Taylor Walker pounded out 10 kills for the Rebels. Teammate Alyssa Santos provided nine kills. Callie Thornton and Kenzie Taylor cranked out seven and six kills, respectively.
Thornton dished out 24 assists and served three aces.
Abbey Pate emerged as ND's defensive leader with 12 digs.
