BASEBALL: Spring Creek offense comes alive, downs Hobbton

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Christian Yarbrough and Jordan Ammons combined for a seven-hitter during Spring Creek's 12-6 triumph over Hobbton in Carolina 1-A Conference play Friday.
Yarbrough allowed five unearned runs, walked three and struck out six Wildcat hitters. Ammons gave up one hit and collected two strikeouts.
Kaden Geelen paced the Gators' offense with three hits and two RBI.
Levi Miller, Matt Dupuy and Yarbrough (three RBI) provided two hits apiece. Casey Whitfield (two RBI), Kevin Grady and Ammons each had one hit.
Josh Lebron supplied an RBI.
