GIRLS' SOCCER: Warriors log mercy-rule road win

DUDLEY -- Brennan Dove posted a hat trick (three goals) as Eastern Wayne handed county and Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference rival Southern Wayne a 9-0, mercy-rule defeat Thursday evening.
Dove also dished out an assist.
Claire Molloy contributed two goals and two assists. Madison Tallarida delivered one goal and two assists. Alana Kazar registered one goal and one assist.
Yessi Gutierrez and Martha Alyea each had one goal.
Goalkeeper Raelynn Clark collected five saves between the pipes.
