BOYS' TENNIS: WCDS rolls over Christ Covenant

GREENVILLE -- Wayne Country Day swept the doubles courts and dominated Christ Covenant, 7-2, during their Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference match contested at Elm Street Park on Wednesday afternoon.
The tandems of Sam Dively-Peter Ye, Alec Fritzinger-Gray Langston and Will Rose-Thad Moye combined to lose just three games in pro-set (eight-game) action.
Dively, Fritzinger, Langston and Rose each secured a singles point. Rose claimed a come-from-behind 5-7, 6-1, 1-0 (10-6) victory over Max Gibbs at the No. 6 flight.
