GIRLS' SOCCER: Tigers, Cougars battle to 1-1 draw

Goldsboro and James Kenan dueled to a 1-1, non-conference draw on the Cougar Stadium pitch Friday evening.

Hannah Williamson knotted the game-tying goal, a 25-yard free kick, in the second half.

The Cougars launch their Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference campaign at home Tuesday against North Lenoir.
