SOFTBALL: Hobbton eases past Goldsboro

Three Goldsboro players combined for six hits during a 5-4, non-conference loss to Hobbton on Tuesday afternoon.
Dakota Jones, Nikki Olmsted and Grace Tart (two RBI) pounded out two hits apiece. Riley Howell, Matti Rose Lyon and Addie Shirley each contributed one hit.
Taylor endured the mound loss. She yielded five runs (two earned) on 11 hits and struck out five Hobbton batters.
