BASEBALL: Bulldogs fall to powerful Firebirds

BAILEY -- Princeton registered just four hits in a 12-2, mercy-rule loss to Big East 3-A member Southern Nash on Wednesday afternoon.
Alex Hickman, Anthony Jones, Hunter Tilghman and Adam Crocker each had one hit.
Tanner Flowers, Colby Sullivan and Crocker each worked 11/3 innings on the mound. The trio combined to allow eight earned runs on 15 hits.
Five Firebirds struck out at the plate.
