Caroline Best posted a hat trick and paced Southern Wayne to a 4-3, non-conference victory over Spring Creek on Monday.
Makayla Tyndall also scored a goal and was assisted by Best. Saints' goalkeeper Daisy Williams notched 12 saves.
Southern Wayne (1-0-0 overall) played host to North Lenoir on Tuesday.
