SWIMMING: Breck competes at state championship

CARY -- Wayne School of Engineering sophomore Anna Breck posted a pair of top-16 finishes during the season-ending N.C. High School Athletic Association Classes 1-A/2-A state championship meet contested at the Triangle Aquatics Center.
Breck placed 10th in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1 minute, 2.81 seconds. She ended up 16th in the 50 free with a time 26.67.
