Boys' basketball: Eastern Wayne 59, Norwayne 47 -- JJ Murray pumped in 23 points for the Warriors, who seized their fifth consecutive Wayne County Middle Schools Athletic Conference Division I championship. Jordan Cooper and Jamin Jacobs logged 16 and 10 points apiece for EW. Norwayne's top scorers were Trevor Reid (15 points) and Anthony Williamson (12 points). Eastern Wayne concluded the year 11-2 overall, while Norwayne finished 10-3.
