GIRLS' BASKETBALL: Princeton cruises past North Duplin

PRINCETON -- Princeton inched closer to the Carolina 1-A Conference regular-season championship with a 62-14 conquest of Carolina 1-A Conference foe North Duplin on Friday evening.
Jordan Benson paced the Bulldogs' offensive attack with 24 points. Takiria Cummings recorded 15 points.
Mary Taylor Jones led the Rebels with 11 points.
North Duplin (0-15 overall) played Lakewood on Saturday and entertains Rosewood on Monday.
