BOYS' BASKETBALL: Bulldogs knock off Rebels

PRINCETON -- Princeton outscored North Duplin by 10 points in the fourth quarter and pulled away for a 55-44 victory on the Carolina 1-A Conference scene Friday evening.
Colby Sullivan led three Bulldogs in double figures with 14 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. Ryan Woodard scored 13 points, followed by multi-sport athlete Austin Sullivan with 11. Tanner Flowers and Earl Gibson Jr. added seven and five points, respectively.
The Rebels' Luke Britt earned game-high scoring honors with 15 points. Malik Cobb registered 12 points, followed by Chase King with nine points. Shmid Romeus knocked down eight points.
North Duplin (4-11 overall) played Lakewood on Saturday and entertains Rosewood on Monday. Princeton (10-12 overall, 4-8 CC) travels to Lakewood on Tuesday.
