INDOOR TRACK: Area athletes fare well in Carolina 1A championship meet

SALEMBURG -- Princeton's duo of Austin Sullivan and Shae Malham combined to win four individual titles during the season-ending Carolina 1-A Conference championship meet contested at Lakewood on Wednesday afternoon.
Sullivan emerged victorious in the boys' 1,000-meter run (3 minutes, 45 seconds), 1,600 run (5:01.6) and 3,200 run (11:06.5).
Malham claimed the pole vault with a mark of 7 feet.
Rosewood's tandem of Seth Wiggins and Kris Wright each picked up an individual championship. Wiggins won the triple jump with a leap of 34 feet, 6 inches. Wright posted a height of 5-8 in the high jump.
Hobbton won the boys' and girls' team crowns.
