GIRLS' BASKETBALL: CBA's Powell flirts with a quadruple-double

La GRANGE -- Mookie Powell posted 15 points and dished out 10 assists as Charles B. Aycock dealt North Lenoir a 44-32, non-conference defeat inside Wooten Gymnasium on Wednesday evening.
Powell shot 7 of 12 from the floor, pulled down seven rebounds and picked the Hawks for eight steals.
Cassandra Lassiter filed nine points in the scorebook and passed out four assists. Lexi Edmundson contributed eight points, four rebounds, five assists and six steals. Destiny Washington (nine rebounds) and Arlanda Faulkner (10 rebounds) provided five points apiece.
Victoria Patnaude grabbed seven rebounds.
