• Boys' basketball: C.B. Aycock 39, Southern Wayne 29 -- Jacari Outlaw paced a balanced Golden Falcons offense with 12 points. Jaylan Robinson and Raekwon Coley delivered eight points apiece.
• Girls' basketball: Southern Wayne 22, C.B. Aycock 18 -- Taylor Gay knocked down six points in the Golden Falcons' road loss. Morgan Casey contributed four points, while Heaven Tatum collected three points.
• Boys' basketball: Wayne Country Day 65, Oakwood 42 -- Jaden Cooper led the Chargers with 11 points. Andrew Gattis scored 10 points. Case Kermode and Noah Atwood chipped in eight points apiece. Will McDonald tallied seven points.
