Girls' basketball: Neuse Christian 30, Wayne Christian 6 -- Lauren Mitchell scored the Eagles' only basket from the field, and Brianna Verme went three for six from the charity stripe.
WC is now 1-2 on the season and will travel to Parrott Academy next Tuesday.
