BOYS' BASKETBALL: Heat trounce Alamance

Gavin Portela flirted with a triple-double as the Heat took down Alamce 65-37 on Monday night.
Portela filled the box score with 25 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. Harm an Kaler pitched in 21 points and gathered seven rebounds. Joe Rasmussen tallied nine points.
The Heat (4-3, 1-2) host conference rival South Wake at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at the W.A. Foster Center.
