WRESTLING: Eagles host 4-team meet

Tim Decatur and Seth Finney each posted 3-0 records as Rosewood swept a four-team, non-conference meet contested Wednesday evening.
The host Eagles defeated county rival C.B. Aycock (51-27), Wilson Fike (42-28) and Carolina Conference foe Princeton (53-24).
Louis Tortual, Hunter Weeks, Christian Decatur, Chris Hill, Reid Amodeo, Jacob Brown and Nyterrius Williams each logged two wins. Teammates Michael Zagone, Patrick Jones, Joey Behrend, Jaquon Mickens and Dhimani Finney each ended the night with one win.
Aycock senior Joshua Wallace remained unbeaten in 10 outings. Freshman Tyler Hughes climbed to 9-1. Five Golden Falcon grapplers each collected two wins -- Tyler Marquard, Zach Creel, James Reser, Nicholas Garcia and Devin Maldonado.
The Golden Falcons travel to North Lenoir on Nov. 30.
