* Volleyball: C.B. Aycock d. South Central 13-25, 25-20, 25-11 -- Brianna Martin and Lydia Butler pounded out three kills apiece during the Golden Falcons' three-set road win. Makayla Williams served a team-high four aces, while Butler and Colleen Jones each had two aces. Victoria Patnaude posted two of CBA's three team blocks. Abigail Lancaster and Williams paced the defense with 18 and 10 digs, respectively. McKenzie Norris dished out nine assists.
* Volleyball: Spring Creek d. James Kenan 25-6, 25-12 -- The Gators' Shae Odom just missed a double-double with nine aces and nine assists. Mikayla Price registered five kills. Alex Jordan provided five aces, two digs and three kills in the straight-set win.
* Volleyball: Rosewood d. North Duplin 25-16, 25-20 -- North Duplin slipped to 6-10 overall and 5-8 in Carolina 1-A Conference play.
* Volleyball: Princeton d. Neuse Charter 25-8, 25-14 -- Hannah Byrd led the Bulldogs' offense with six kills. Harley Parker and Kalli Jones recorded three and two kills, respectively. Lily Eklund passed out 11 assists.
