BOYS' SOCCER: Lakewood edges Rosewood, 3-2

SALEMBURG -- Lakewood handed Rosewood a 3-2 loss in Carolina 1-A Conference play Wednesday afternoon.

Stalen Massengill recorded a goal and assist for the Eagles, who fell to 4-6-0 overall and 0-4-0 in league play.

Collin Carter assisted Massengill's goal. Jayden Thomas scored off Massengill's assist.

The Eagles visit Neuse Charter today.
