POSTPONEMENTS: Area games postponed, rescheduled

Games moved again
* NEW BERN -- A steady Tuesday afternoon rain postponed the Eastern Carolina 3-A./4-A Conference girls' tennis match between New Bern and Eastern Wayne.
The teams will meet Oct. 3 on the Bears' courts.
Eastern Wayne cancelled today's home tennis match with Greene Central, and returns home next Tuesday against J.H. Rose. The ECC rivals will complete a suspended match and play their regularly-scheduled match.
North Duplin and Rosewood moved their Carolina 1-A volleyball match to next Monday at RHS.
Weather permitting, the Carolina 1-A cross country meet scheduled for Tuesday will be ran today at Cliffs of the Neuse State Park. Charles B. Aycock is slated to play at home today against Southern Wayne on the ECC tennis scene.
