BOYS' SOCCER: J.H. Rose edges Southern Wayne in OT

J.H. Rose notched the game-winning goal in overtime and handed Southern Wayne a 4-3 loss in Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference play Tuesday evening.
Oscar Rodriguez converted a penalty kick, Adan Reyes scored a goal and Mauricio Velasquez provided one goal. Shyquell Kornegay and Alex Roblero each had one assist.
Weather permitting, Southern Wayne (2-5-1 overall, 0-3-0 ECC) play host to D.H. Conley today.
