ECBL: WCDS rolls to mercy-rule win over Wilson Christian

WILSON -- Mitch Turnage turned in a three-hit, five-RBI performance as Wayne Country Day hammered ECBL foe Wilson Christian, 14-4, in mercy-rule fashion on Monday afternoon.
Tanner Bradley (RBI) and Amane Godo (two RBI) each registered three hits during the six-inning affair. Holden Foster and Jaxon Anderson (RBI) each logged two hits.
Other offensive contributors were Case Kermode, Josh Gross, Cooper Edmondson (RBI), Jon Bryan, Caleb Brewer and Aoha Godo (RBI).
Bradley hurled a four-hitter and fanned three Wilson Christian batters in four innings of work on the cliff. Zach Barfield provided two innings of three-hit, two-strikeout relief. The duo combined for just one walk.
Wayne Country Day (9-4 overall) plays host to C.B. Aycock Blue today. Game time is 5 p.m.
