ECBL: CBA Blue carves out road win

WILSON -- Blake Gipson sprayed three hits around the Gilbert Ferrell Field diamond as C.B. Aycock Blue dumped Wilson Fike Blue, 11-1, in five innings on Monday afternoon.
Gipson scored three runs.
Cody Whaley, Jordan Gay (RBI), Chris Turner (double, three RBI), Carson Smitherman (RBI) and Caleb Matthews (double, three RBI) powered the Golden Falcons' offense.
Nick Aycock sacrificed two at-bats to plate two runs. Joey Hampton knocked in a run.
Jordan Gay fired a complete-game two-hitter and sat down five Fike batters on strikeouts.
CBA Blue travels to Wayne Country Day today. Game time is 5 p.m.
