ECBL: Kermode, Bradley power WCDS past GC Blue

SNOW HILL -- Case Kermode and Tanner Bradley rapped out two hits apiece as Wayne Country Day throttled Greene Central Blue, 17-1, on the Eastern Carolina Baseball League scene Tuesday evening.
Stalen Massengill (two RBI), Mitch Turnage (RBI), John Strickland (two RBI), Jack Talton, Cole Brewer and Josh Gross provided one hit apiece.
Amane Godo supplied an RBI.
Bradley tossed a four-hitter over four innings and retired three Greene Central batters on strikeouts. Godo tossed one-inning of one-hit relief as the Chargers won their second straight mercy-rule affair.
Wayne Country Day (5-1 overall) is the guest of Wilson Fike Blue on Thursday. First pitch is 6 p.m.
