ECBL: Spring Creek shuts out Goldsboro

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Matt Dupuy surrendered a lead-off single in the top half of the first inning, and finished with a complete-game, 6-0 shutout over Goldsboro at "The Swamp" on Tuesday evening.
Dupuy retired six Cougars on strikeouts and issued one walk during his efficient 73-pitch outing.
Christian Yarborough (RBI) and Austin Reynolds emerged as the Gators' offensive leaders.
Spring Creek (2-1 overall) returns home Thursday for a doubleheader against CBA Blue. First pitch is 5 p.m.
