COLLEGE UPDATES: Winslow, McCollum recognized

Winslow honored
HARTSVILLE, S.C. -- Coker College's Will Winslow was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings all-Southeast Region second team as an outfielder.
The ABCA selects the all-region teams.
Winslow batted .386 this season, fifth-best among hitters in the South Atlantic Conference. His stat line -- 46 RBI, 13 stolen bases, 57 runs scored, 11 doubles and six home runs.
A Rosewood alum, Winslow is the son of Rhonda and Chuck Winslow of Goldsboro. He graduated with a degree in exercise science.

McCollum picked
BUIES CREEK -- Campbell freshman Rachel McCollum earned a spot on the 2016 Big South all-conference first team as a third baseman.
McCollum concluded the season with 51 hits and a team-high 14 home runs. The Spring Creek graduate led the Camels in on-base percentage, runs scored, RBI, home runs and walks drawn.
Campbell ended the season 28-31 overall.
