Janae Jones and Langley Barnes combined for two goals and two assists as Wayne Country Day and Oakwood battled to a 3-3, non-conference draw on Tuesday afternoon.
Kathryn Hamilton scored the first goal for WCDS off a pass from Jones in the opening half. Jones pushed the Chargers in front 2-1 on a Barnes assist in the second half. Barnes converted a direct free kick to cap the scoring.
Oakwood earned the equalizer late in the second half.
"It was a good performance from the girls. Our first-half shape and work rate was fantastic," WCDS head coach Steve Ellis said. "The girls did everything I asked of them in the first half and deservedly had the lead. We came out in the second half and got the second goal pretty early, but started to lose focus and shape after that.
"We still contained them, but giving up free kicks in dangerous positions took it away from us. It was a great effort from the girls and (they) really deserved more than the result they got."
The Chargers (7-6-1 overall) improved to 5-0-1 in their last six outings and continue play Friday at nemesis Greenfield.
