North Duplin softball crushes James Kenan

CALYPSO -- Alyssa Santos fired a two-hitter and recorded 11 strikeouts as North Duplin smashed James Kenan, 17-0, in mercy-rule fashion on the Carolina 1-A Conference scene.
Santos, Rylee Pate, Courtney Brock and Samantha Frochlich each collected two hits on the day. Taylor Jones batted 1-for-1.
The Rebels (13-1 overall, 8-0 CC) visit Rosewood next Tuesday.
