Rosewood wins Carolina 1A golf meet at GMGC

James Kenan's Cole Pridgen earned medalist honors with a 67 and Rosewood emerged won the team portion of a Carolina 1-A Conference meet played on the Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course links.
Jeremy Mercer and Cameron Klages paced Rosewood with identical 18-hole rounds of 79. Dylan Champion fired an 84 and Andrew Ingram completed Rosewood's four-player total of 327 with an 85.
Mercer and Klages shared third place behind Lakewood's Griffin Faircloth, who ended up second in individual play.
Damon Barwick emerged as Spring Creek's low scorer with a 94. Nick Dorman paced Princeton with a 94.
Lakewood finished second in team play with a 355, followed by Princeton (374), James Kenan (372), Spring Creek (398) and Hobbton (433).
