Southern Alamance trips up Greene Central

BETHEL -- Southern Alamance capitalized on six errors and pounded out eight hits during a 5-2 victory over Greene Central on the final day of the 2016 Pitt County Classic.
Dane Hedgepeth led GC's offense with a double. The Rams scored on a passed ball and an RBI by Justin Woolard.
Cole Lanier endured the pitching loss.
Greene Central (3-8 overall) launches its Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference campaign next Tuesday at Ayden-Grifton.
